The Finer Things in Life

19 Jun

The finer things in life look like intricate little details in the world of now. The grand cascades of ever flowing streams and glowing thoughts that extend to the horizons. The innovators believed that the world could be a better place, if you and I could embrace change in establishing new ideas.

In the epic movie, “Brave Heart,” Mel Gibson plays William Wallace, he asks his soldiers, who are getting ready to go to war. “And what will happen if you don’t choose?” “Absolutely nothing!”

Life’s finest moments are the times when we unleash our sequestered passions, and pull away to a place of solitude, where our dreams come true. When we rise up and act out what we see ourselves doing, then the big picture comes into view. When you make a choice, the cap on your capability is removed and the death of the fear that once stopped you, is certain to never come again.

In that picture, the hero wins and the villain is taken captive by his own lust and cast down. Our real enemies, are the things that try to rob us of a belief system that’s flooded with integrity, common sense, and a fear of God. “To say you have no choice is to relieve yourself of responsibility.”

So, let me encourage you to take the limits off the limitless and explore the finer things in life. The finer things consist of the moments when we serve others, take in a sun set, and thank God for his bountiful blessings. And, at the end of every rainbow, you’ll be standing on the Rock!
