With this year’s presidential election looming, don’t forget about the 54 million evangelical Christians that stayed home last year and did not vote. We have some serious issues to pray out in our nation. Charles Finney once said, “It seems as if God is limited by our prayer life. He can do nothing for humanity unless someone ask him.”
President George W. Bush declared over our nation, “Throughout our history, Americans of faith have always turned to prayer – for wisdom, prayer for resolve, prayers for compassion and strength, prayers for commitment to justice and for a spirit of forgiveness.”
“Since America’s founding, prayer has reassured us that the hand of God is guiding the affairs of this nation. We have never asserted a special claim on His favor, yet we’ve always believed in God’s presence in our lives.”
We must continue that belief in the power of God and in the power of prayer. Get to the polls and cast your vote in this year’s election!
James 5:16 amp. – “The earnest heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available dynamic in its working.” You an I must continue the pursuit of prayer if our nation will continue to honor God and walk in it’s greatness.
